The wards of the Engels Boarding School took part in the III International Festival of Folk Arts and Crafts “By the Hands of a woman”.
Marina Zatsepilina presented the works of the sewing workshop “Craftswoman”. As a result of painstaking work, a unique handmade thing is obtained in a single copy. No doll is like another, each has its own charisma and character.
Representatives of the strong half were interested in the works of the masters of the locksmith workshop of the boarding house, made of metal by cold forging: a composition with a violin and a bow “Melody of Metal”, twisted candlesticks and lace wall panels.
For a long time, the participants of the event stayed near the young artist Alina Maslova, who was working on creating a new painting. A talented girl suffering from severe cerebral palsy inspired the audience with her optimism and ability to create beauty.
The deserved result and the general decision of the international jury was the awarding of the Engel Boarding House for the Elderly and disabled with the diploma of the winner of the III International Festival of Folk Arts and Crafts “By the Hands of a woman”.
