On November 18, 2025, a Plenary session was held within the framework of the IV International Forum “Woman of the Third Millennium”, which became a landmark event in the dialogue on the role of women in the modern world. Under the moderation of Suren Vardanyan, Executive Director of the AGROBRICS+ Exhibition Forum and Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation for Foreign Economic Activity, a meaningful discussion was held with the participation of prominent women leaders from different countries.
International dialogue at the highest level
The meeting opened with a speech by Sheikha Bint Jasim Al-Thani, Deputy Minister of Family Affairs of the State of Qatar, who shared her country’s unique experience in strengthening the institution of the family as the foundation of social stability.
Members of the Supreme State Council of Libya made a significant contribution to the discussion. Ms. Fatema Tliweh and Ms.Huda A. Albannani, who presented a view on the development of women’s leadership in the context of modern geopolitical challenges.
Business cooperation and public diplomacy
Of particular interest was the presentation by Jiang Jiang, Executive Vice President of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Jiangxi Province, who revealed the potential of women’s entrepreneurship in strengthening international economic ties.
In the format of a video message, the participants were addressed Yana Lantratova, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Development of Civil Society, stressed the importance of consolidating the efforts of the state and women’s public associations.
Global initiatives and practical implementation
Gulden Turktan, Founding President of the Women’s Twenty (W20), in her video message emphasized the need to transform women’s initiatives into concrete political solutions at the international level.
Practical aspects of the development of women’s entrepreneurship in the BRICS format were highlighted Anna Nestereva, founder of Global Rus Trade and Chairman of the Russian part of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance.
Intercultural dialogue and social activities
Eugenia Rolf-Smith, Baroness Bagge af Boo, Chairman of the International Society of Lovers of World Studies (Great Britain), enriched the discussion with a philosophical understanding of the role of women in the inter-civilizational dialogue.
Margarita Maslennikova, head of the Voronezh Region Women’s Council and a member of the region’s Civic Chamber, shared her experience of working at the regional level and demonstrated the effectiveness of public initiatives in addressing social issues.
Joining forces for sustainable development
The plenary session became a platform for productive dialogue between representatives of different countries and cultures, confirming that it is women who can become architects of a sustainable future in the new geopolitical reality. The participants unanimously noted the need to further strengthen international cooperation and develop women’s leadership in all spheres of society.
