The Regional Public Organization “International Women’s Union” announces the appointment of Anna Vasilievna Zakaidze to the position of Director of the Department for Social Design and Crisis Intervention.
The relevant order was signed by the President of the organization, Alfia Ravilievna Amirova. Anna Zakaidze has been appointed for a term of one year. In her new role, she will be responsible for the development and implementation of social projects, as well as for coordinating efforts in the field of crisis psychological assistance, primarily to women and children.
The “International Women’s Union” is a public organization that brings together energetic and goal-oriented leaders from around the world. The organization’s mission is to create conditions for empowering women in business, science, creativity, and public activity, to strengthen international cooperation, and to preserve cultural heritage. The organization builds its work on three fundamental pillars: business, culture, and public diplomacy.
As Director of the Department for Social Design and Crisis Intervention, Anna Zakaidze will oversee a key area for the organization: helping women who find themselves in difficult life situations. Her deep expertise in family therapy and trauma work will take the social initiatives of the “International Women’s Union” to a new level.
Anna Zakaidze is a clinical psychologist, hypnotherapist, trauma therapist, EMDR practitioner, and family therapist. Her professional journey began with overcoming personal tragedy. Having gone through a difficult divorce, betrayal, and the loss of loved ones, she managed not only to survive but also to find the strength to help others. It was this experience that became the foundation of her professional activity. “I pieced myself back together. The tools I discovered and tested on myself back then now form the basis of my professional work,” Anna shares.
The main areas of Anna Zakaidze’s practice include family therapy, trauma work, relationship crises, child-parent relationships, divorce, and infidelity. Over more than six years of practice, she has helped several hundred families. Her toolkit includes an integrative approach that combines talk therapy with powerful methods such as hypnotherapy and EMDR (a method approved by the WHO for trauma work).
Anna is the author of the expert project “Transformation” and the author of a course on the psychology of money. Her clients include businesspeople, entrepreneurs, political figures, and top managers. She also appears as a media expert on platforms such as Channel One, Moscow24, RBC, Psychologies, Marie Claire, and Arguments and Facts. In 2025, she was awarded the title of Laureate of the “Best Psychologist of the Year” prize at the Kremlin.
The team of the “International Women’s Union” congratulates Anna Vasilievna on her appointment and expresses confidence in successful joint work for the benefit of women, families, and children.
