At the invitation of the President of the International Women’s Union Amirova Alfiya took part in the forum Vice-Speaker of the Shura Council Her Excellency Dr. HAMDA BINT HASSAN AL-SULAITI, accompanied by a delegation from the Qatar Shura Council.
On November 15, 2024, in Moscow, within the framework of the 3rd International forum “Woman of the Third Millennium”, the President of the NGO “International Union of Women” Alfiya Amirova Ravilyevna held a meeting with the Vice-Speaker of the Shura Council of Qatar, Her Excellency Dr. HAMDA BINT HASSAN AL-SULAITI.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mr. Youssef bin Ali Al-Khater – Member of the Shura Council, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Batti Al-Abdullah – member of the Shura Council, Vice President of the International Women’s Union Safiullova Rima.
Alfiya Amirova spoke in more detail about the activities of the International Women’s Union to support women entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized businesses and about possible forms of interaction.
“We are committed to further partnership between our countries, establishing a trusting and rich dialogue on women, family, culture and education in order to share experiences and study the traditions and history of Qatar,” the President of the International Women’s Union stressed.
Her Excellency Dr. HAMDA BINT HASSAN AL-SULAITI took part in the work of the 3rd International Forum “Woman of the Third Millennium”, where she delivered a welcoming speech at the Plenary session and at the thematic session “Soft Power of Diplomacy”.
The Vice Speaker of the Qatar Shura Council, accompanied by the President of the International Women’s Union, looked at the exhibition “Hands of a Woman” presented at the forum and highly appreciated the products made by women, noted the diversity of national cultures of Russia.
Following the results, Dr. Hamid bin Hassan Al-Sulaiti thanked for the warm welcome and wished the forum prosperity. Alfiya Amirova invited the women’s communities of Qatar to the forum, which will be held in 2025.
