Awarding of the winners of the International photo contest “Mother and children in national costumes”.

The award ceremony was opened by Ksenia Devi, a poet, singer, laureate of international cultural projects and competitions, singing in different languages of the world – and always in the language of love.

“Today we congratulate the winners of the 5th international photo contest “Mother and children in national costumes”.

The international photo contest “Mother and Children in National costumes” has been in existence since 2019, designed to demonstrate the national flavor of the peoples of Russia and friendly foreign countries by expressing the diversity of their nation’s culture through national costume, with the help of talented works by photo artists.
One of the goals of the international photo contest is to preserve traditional family values, strengthen intra–family and intergenerational relations, and form family traditions.
The implementation of the activities of this project is aimed at helping to preserve the national identity, cultures and traditions of the peoples of Russia and friendly foreign countries in the context of the increasing pace of globalization of society through the national costume of mothers and children.
In 2024, the 5th anniversary International Photo Contest “Mother and Children in National Costumes” received the aegis of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, the support of the Federal Agency for Nationalities of Russia and the Moscow City branch of the All-Russian Public Organization “Russian Geographical Society”.
The photo exhibition was presented at the United Nations (Vienna), at receptions dedicated to Russia Day in a number of Diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation abroad in more than 45 countries. In particular, at the Russian Embassies in Mongolia, in Austria (Vienna), in
France (Paris), Slovakia, Portugal, Mumbai (India), the Consulate General in Istanbul, the Russian House in Brussels, etc. The information is posted on the official websites of diplomatic agencies.
The organizing Committee of the photo contest in 2023 approved a new nomination – the Vocal competition “Lullaby song in the native language”. Despite the large geography of the competition, the winners of the competition from all over our country came to us today.

In 2025, the 6th International Photo Contest “Mother and Children in National Costumes” will be held under the auspices of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO.
